Medardo Fuentes Amarante

Medardo Fuentes Amarante was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and began playing percussion at the age of 10 with Grupo Ismaelillo. He went on to tour nationally and internationally before moving to Havana, where he performed with the popular orchestra Pedrito Camacho y su Clan. After relocating to Miami, Medardo worked for 10 years with América TeVé, participating in programs such as TN3, Happy Hour, and Éxitos de Siempre. He has also had the privilege of performing alongside major artists including Willy Chirino, Albita Rodríguez, Celia Cruz All Stars, Jencarlos Canela, and many others.
