Robby Ramos is a Miami-born actor, writer, producer, and multidisciplinary storyteller whose work spans television, film, and theatre. Rooted in his Cuban-American upbringing, Ramos brings a strong sense of culture, humor, identity, and emotional depth to the stories he helps bring to life.
On television, Ramos is best known for his role as Diego “Cottonmouth” on the acclaimed Starz drama Heels, now streaming on Netflix. His screen credits also include appearances on NCIS: Hawai’i, Chicago P.D., HBO Max’s Duster, and other film and television projects that showcase his range as a performer.
Beyond his on-screen work, Ramos has established himself as a powerful theatrical voice and creator. He is the writer and creator of The Walls Have Ears, a deeply personal stage work inspired by his grandfather’s experience as a political prisoner in Cuba. The project has been developed and performed in both Los Angeles and Miami, including its bilingual adaptation, Las Paredes Oyen, which ran for 17 weeks to sold-out audiences in Miami.
Ramos now serves as Co-Writer and Co-Director of Muerto de Risa – El Último Show de Álvarez Guedes, alongside Hector Medina and Nelson Albareda. The immersive comedy cabaret honoring the life, voice, and legacy of Guillermo Álvarez Guedes. In this role, he brings his unique perspective as both an artist and a proud member of the Cuban-American community to help preserve and reimagine one of the most influential comedic voices in Latin culture for today’s audiences. His work on the production reflects a commitment to legacy-driven storytelling, theatrical innovation, and the unmistakable humor and nostalgia that define Álvarez Guedes’ enduring impact.
